Welcome to the 2024 Ptruzzle Hunt!

What’s a “ptruzzle”?  (“Nothin’ -- what a ‘ptruzzle’ with you?”)  Well -- it’s a portmanteau of “puzzle” and “truzzle.”  What’s a “truzzle”?!  Well -- it’s a portmanteau of “treasure” and “puzzle.”  What does all of that even mean?!

Well -- this hunt started out like one of Edric’s Puzzle Hunts (based on the old time-unlock Australian hunts) . . . but on Day 4 it switched to the style of Edric’s solve-unlock Truzzle Hunts.  (Solvers knew in advance that this transition would occur . . . but didn’t know when it would occur until the puzzles dropped on Day 4.)

Puzzles were uploaded at 9:00 p.m. EDT each day, starting on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, until all the puzzles had been released.  A few of the puzzles were also be accompanied by a complimentary solving aid (like a Google Sheet or a Penpa link), which were accessed by clicking the provided
button.  All answers (which will be English words or phrases) needed to be entered into the provided URLs using all lower-case letters, with any spaces and/or punctuation removed.

Three hints were provided for each puzzle.  Hints also went live at 9:00 p.m. EDT . . . one hint per day every day after its puzzle went live.  The hunt ended when the solutions to all of the puzzles got posted at noon EDT on Wednesday, July 24.

And now -- with all that having been said . . .
